Pipe fence and ranch gates in Waco, TX

Waco sits at the south end of our map, on I-35 in McLennan County where the Bosque River meets the Brazos. We aren't based here. We come down from Weatherford, and at this distance the work is pipe fence, high fence, water gaps, ranch gates, and fence repair. Nothing outside fence.

Building around Waco

Waco's a city, but the McLennan County land around it is big farm and ranch country. East and south is Blackland Prairie, dark clay and open fields. West of Lake Waco the ground rises into rolling limestone hills with cedar and oak, out toward McGregor and Crawford. Near town the Brazos and the Bosque both have wide bottoms: deep soil that floods, with higher ground that drains well a short walk away.

The two sides build differently. In the clay, posts need depth and drainage so they hold still as the ground swells and shrinks with the weather. In the limestone out west, it's the rock, and post holes go slower. We figure out which side you're on during the walk, and the job is priced on site from there.

Plenty of people around Waco have moved out onto acreage: horse places, small cattle operations, homes on a few acres outside town. Those places usually need fence along the road, an entry gate with an opener, and an honest look at whatever fence came with the land. Sometimes that's an old wire fence patched over and over, or an entry gate that was never braced right. We'll look at it and tell you if it's worth saving.

About our phone number: 254 is the area code for a big stretch of Central Texas, not only Waco. We're based in the Weatherford area in Parker County, and Waco jobs are planned trips.
