About Fain Land & Construction
Kolton Fain owns and runs Fain Land & Construction, based in Weatherford in Parker County. One crew lays out and builds the fence line, the shop, and the land work around it for acreage owners and horse and cattle places. Fence and gate work runs from Fort Worth west to Abilene and south to Waco.

Owner-run, one crew
Kolton owns the business and runs the work. The crew that walks your place with you is the crew that builds it.
The plan and the work stay in the same hands. What we talk through at the truck is what gets built.
Why one crew for the whole place
Fence is rarely the only job. A shop needs a pad and a drive. A new fence line needs the brush off it, and maybe a water gap where it crosses a draw. A horse place needs pens and an entry gate.
With one crew on the fence, the building, and the dirt work, it all gets planned together. The pad is built for the building that sits on it. The fence line gets cleared and laid out once. You make one call, not three.
How a job runs
A few hundred feet of fence or a shop on new land, every job runs the same way.
- Walk the place. We walk the line or the site with you, check the ground, brush, water, and access, and talk through what it has to do.
- Lay it out. We mark corners, gates, building corners, and drainage on the ground.
- Spec it. We write down pipe, wire, posts, gates, fill, and building size, and you get a written number.
- Build it. Clearing and dirt work go first, then posts, rails, gates, pads, and buildings.
- Clean up. We haul off scrap and cutoffs, then walk it again with you.
What we won't do
No fake urgency, no badges, no claims we can't back. You won't see a borrowed price on this site. Every job is priced on site, after we've seen it.
We clear brush mechanically, by mulching, dozing, grubbing, and trimming. Nothing else. On barndominiums, we build the shell, the slab, and the site. Interiors, electrical, and plumbing aren't in our scope. Your own finish contractors handle those.
