Hudson Oaks is a small city strung along I-20 between Weatherford and Willow Park. We work the bigger lots and acreage at the edges of town and out into the county: pipe fence, ranch entries with openers, and shops on a pad we cut. We come look at the place and price it there.
Building around Hudson Oaks
The town is built along the interstate. Stores and restaurants face I-20, neighborhoods sit behind them, and past those the lots get bigger and run out into open Parker County. That outer ring is where our work fits. Two or three horses, a hay barn, and a front fence that has to look good from the road.
City and county sit side by side here, and it matters which one you're in. Some places with a Hudson Oaks address are outside the city limits. That changes who you call about permits before anything goes in the ground. We ask on the first call so nobody finds out after the posts are set.
It's Cross Timbers ground like the rest of eastern Parker County. Post oak, some cedar, gentle rolls, and clay that holds water after a storm. Drives and pads need a way to shed it. A gate post on a slope has to be set so the gate still swings level when it's open. We plan that at layout, not after the concrete's poured.
Shops fit here too. Room behind the house is a good spot for the trailer, the tractor, or a workbench out of the weather. We set the pad, face the doors toward the drive, and put the building up. If you'll want power or water later, say so at layout so the pad and drive leave room for the trench.

We haven't checked the City of Hudson Oaks rules on fences or shops for this page. If you're inside the limits, call the city before work starts. In unincorporated Parker County, the county issues no building permits but does regulate septic and floodplain work.
